Starting our operation in the Spring of 2026 we will concentrate on specialty vegetables, fruits and flowers that will help the community grow nutritionally.
Our Mission and Passion
We Love to Serve Others Because We Care!
We cultivate hope and empowerment through farming and share love through the services and products we produce. Our sole purpose in life is uplifting people to become better people through Christ’s principles of caring and sharing resources for each other.
The following pictures are the future home of Second Chance Farm Ministry on 10.3 acres. The Ministry
has various farm needs that require public donations to make it a full-time ministry.

We Believe
The health of the soil affects the health and mindset of the human being, and is closely connected to the well-being of the community. By rebuilding and caring for the soil in the most natural way, we build people’s lives mentally, physically and spiritually. We came from the soil, and we will return to the soil so everything in nature is connected.
We are not seeking to feed the world, just our community. Once this is accomplished with measurable success, we will show others how they can feed themselves through the community garden model we have used in our neighborhood.
Chemical-Free
We will not harm God's creation by adding any chemicals. As a result, we will produce nutrient-dense foods that are free from chemical contaminants. As a result, nutritious healthy food produces a strong body better able to communicate and interact with our Creator.
Fresh & Healthy
By growing our food on our land, we know that it is very nutritious - Land to Mouth.
100% Organic
We utilize the resources provided by nature to create natural compost and incorporate it into our soil.We utilize the resources provided by nature to create natural compost and incorporate it into our soil..
We believe in the transformative power of regenerative farming practices, which significantly boost soil health and strengthen resilience to pests and diseases.
- No Tilling farming
- Crop Rotation
- Composting
- Diversifying crops - Companion Planting
- Use Homemade Biochar
Our farming practices will minimize the physical, biological, and chemical disturbance of the soil, and increase plant diversity. Our intention is to keep living roots in the soil as much as possible, even after harvesting.
Values Our Company Are Based On
Environmental Sustainability
Our sustainable farming practices prioritize using solar energy to power all activities on the farm, strive for recycling whenever possible, and implement timely and effective crop rotation. For instance, after planting a nutrient-consuming crop like corn, we will follow up by planting a nitrogen-fixing legume, such as beans, to restore balance to the soil.
We highly value no-till farming because it minimizes soil disruption, reduces erosion, and helps retain moisture. Additionally, we will employ biodynamic farming methods to control pests and conserve water naturally. As a company, we also commit to volunteering for community clean-up efforts and aim to reduce unnecessary travel by utilizing webinars and recorded presentations.
Christian Integrity
Our guiding principle is to be honest with God, ourselves, and others, regardless of the consequences. We believe in having the courage to uphold our convictions, even in the face of opposition. Our actions should reflect what is true and right.
“The beauty of a healthy, productive, and well-cared-for agricultural landscape should serve as a testament to the Christian faith.” – Craig Sorley
Farming is a meaningful and noble way of life because God was the first farmer. He has entrusted us with the special responsibility of caring for our landscapes to the best of our ability. We view mulch as “God’s blanket.” Just as nature does not leave the ground bare, mulch helps prevent soil erosion, improves water filtration, and enhances fertility by adding organic matter. We strive to follow nature’s example—God’s way!
community Engagement
Farmers can engage the community by hosting events like farm tours and workshops, participating in farmers’ markets, and collaborating with local schools. Listening to community concerns helps build trust and relationships.
We will give freely our cut flowers to lonely senior citizens in nursing homes, and food pack backs to food insecure students in the community.
